Greetings

This is my mail art for the latest TIOT challenge. The design was made by masking off an area for the address then stamping the kelp and seahorses stamps design by Ryn. Do join us we would love to see your creations. 

This is the matching card for the envelope.

The card was made by applying distress ink directley to the card stock and then spritzing it with water then I stamped the fish shoal (design by Ryn.)

Springtime

Greetings,

This is my entry to the current TIOT challenge which is Springtime. I painted an old wooden cutting board with a layer of gesso. I then painted thin watered down layers of paper artsy fressco paints.

the cuts and groves gentley show through the paint. I then stamped tim holtz papilion words in brown and the wonderful life stamp in grey. I wiped the surfaces so these smudged and faded. I then stamped my main image paperbag studios in brown staz on. I then painted this with watered down paints.

Travel -tiot challange

Good day,

This is my entry to this the Try it on Tuesday challenge - Travel and what better way to than by paper artsy fishship? the colours are faded jeans and tumbled glass distress inks and the backing paper is from Prima botanical and features lots of old postcards& stamps.

BINGO BANGO!

usually the only thing that I have to do with bingo is wings.. it's just not my bag, but the bingo card used by try it on Tuesday this week is so my bag and comes with a twist; use a butterfly. I used the flower, 2 backing papers and a touch of lace row.

The main image is accetate and doesn't come out too well in photos, sorry. She is a long haired beauty from Itkupilli estey shop, backed with sprayed tissue paper. the backing papers are from calio crafts and some backing paper from a Tim Holtz product. The flower is also from calio and the spinner is Timi! again, the butterfly is from a set by mind eye and the dictionary definintion of wish and wishful is from the Beano.. ok a dictionary. I used wishful as sepia wasn't there and vintage just went on about wines.

Good Morning, above is my entry to this week's try it on Tuesday challenge anything goes. It is a up lighter lampshade which has been stamped with inkakindo steampunk set in jet black and dove grey staz -on ink.

Here is my entry to TIOT this week which is Father's day/ men. These 3 are waiting to be filled with witches homes brew (blackberry vodka) didn't have time to done the gauntlets this weekend but they will be filled.....

stamps used inkadinko rock star and waltzing mouse Wanda's pantry stamp set. Inks are distress and staz on timber brown.

PS have got to tell you this I overheard it on Saturday "Sinead, it ain't no good saying you're pregnant, cause I know you had a period last week!" imagine this to be screeched into a mobile phone by a drunk harpy and you are on the right track.

Pampered Pets

Good Morning,

This week at Try it on Tuesday the challenge is pampered pets and is sponsored by the delightful and most wonderous One Stop Card Crafts.  I had so many ideas for this challenge as I have a very pampered pet... the evil Dr Nebula.

The card started out as the one below, then I noticed how angry and disaproving the middle bunny was and 12 angry bunnies was born.

The stamp is from a excellent free digi stamp site called Free Vintage Digital Stamps, the font is American type writer and the bunnies were coloured with the flexi markers that I won from craft stamper. Please do give the challenge ago.
