Dearest Minions,

Good day, this is my entry to this week's try it on Tuesday challenge -alter it and Creative Card Crew- anything goes. The box started was given to me filled with lush chocolate, which I emptied in a prompt manner. I then got over enthused with red pepper paint and tissue paper stamped with scroll work stamps.

Stamp is invoke arts blackbird and the paints are ranger daubers, lettuce, red pepper and pool. Lace Dolley from the pound shop 12 for a pound.Hope you can see the layering.

I also now have a mug to help inspire me with my evil plans.... beware I have been following it's instructions.

Bliss

Dearest Minions,

Here is a really quick card I made recently, I love the paper and I got a stampin' up stamp set with the delish word Bliss on it hence the sentiment. Of course if you are a winged horse stomping through mystic mists I am sure that would cause a great deal of happiness, esp. if there was a muffin at the end of it.

EVIL EDNA'S Challenge CSI

Dearest Treasured Minions,
Todays challenge for you is to pick a CSI ie New York etc. and make a phone call in the style of it.

This maybe difficult if you pick ginger from Miami as it is hard to verbally take off sun glasses.

inspiration Avenue -Icy

Dearest Minions,

It's the whimsical tree stamp again, in the midst of proper English summer weather (weenie sunny spells and biblical rain) it's easy to think of ice. Here is my entry to this weeks inspiration Avenue challenge -Icy.

Masking with distress inks mounted on basic grey glacier from their beautiful Figgy pudding range, yet more strokable paper.

inspiration avenue -sun kissed

Dearest Minions,

Good day, here is my entry to Inspiration Avenue Sun Kissed and Try it on Tuesday Trees. the tag is made from recycled packaging which has painted and stamped with distress ink. I did the non wrinkle distress technique for the background, which I think should be called the smooch.

shells

Dearest Minions,

This is my version of multi tasking as I am entering this card into several challenges. The image is a most devious invention by crafty individuals  (old)which has been stamped over acyclic paint in pool, red pepper and lettuce from ranger (a fav thing to do.) The quote is a whimsy stamp (new). I wanted to go for simpilicity and impact as I find that bright colours can overwhelm twiddly bits.

I don't tend to used Bright colours so I was a little at a loss when, the bright in every way, Helen Chilton set the crafty individuals challenge of Bright and Beautiful. The very nice people at Try it on Tuesday, who are being sponsored by One Stop Card Crafts had set a beach theme so I am throwing it to see if it sticks at that as well and then I am putting it forward like ambious parent for crafty calender's hot colours and also Cooking it up with Katie and some other wonderful sites.

tim and more tim holtz

Dearest Minions,

Today I saw an adult with a Justin Bieber haircut, this adult is in a proper grown up job and all I could do was stare at his hair. I wanted to go all Grey's anatomy and start saying the word "Seriously?!" over and over again. On the other hand this could be the solution for dentists and politians everywhere, it shall be part of the plan.

Dearest Minions,

Through the delightful Astrid's artstic efforts I chanced upon a new challenge blog which looks rather good, drum roll please: fashionablestampingchallenges.cottagecrafts. I now find myself incapable to saying this quickly as have just finished a bottle of Pimms, oh the outrage! Pimms should be on tap. I want a campain for a Pimms Tap to be started NOW!

Moving on this is my entry to their first challenge -anything goes.

two things to do before you die

Dearest minions,

I went to see the delightful John Finnemore on Saturday and in one of his sketches he said "two things to do before you die, 1. Be kind 2. Have fun."

This phrase inspired this card. The hearts are made of felt and the linen coaster has been sprayed with cosmic shimmer mists which is rather apt.

So over and out my fine fellows.
