raise glass to Isadora Duncan

Dearest Minions,

Sadly some days you need to hack and squeeze things and when I feel this urge I turn to my beloved cuttlebug.

This is my entry to the less is more challenge this week which is die cuts and punches. The die cut used is tree by memory box, it is so adaptable but it is so fiddly and often doesn't cut clearly- so tips and advice on this would be greatly appreciated. The sentiment is from some scrapbook paper and it is from Isadora Duncan who is sadly remembered for her death and long scarfs rather than her immense dancing talent. So let us raise a glass to one of the pioneers of modern dance.

Super card Edna.
Have you tried using an extra piece of paper underneath the one you are cutting. That sometimes works for me!
Thanks so much
Chrissie

Beautiful card, love that tree, what a shame it's playing up, I like Chrissie sometimes use a thin shim of paper or light card to make it cut more effectively. Sometimes, if your cutting plates are worn out they may need to be replaced too! Have fun, Gay xx

Really gorgeous card, love the tree die cut, I also use paper shims with some dies if they aren't cutting quite well enough
