Poison boxes and mango monsters

So I took a nice pine box and made it look really old and scruffy. It's ironic how much time and effort I put into making this new box look like it had been on a dusty witch's shelf.

I painted it silver then crackle glazed it, then painted it white. I then printed out poison labels and pasted them on with Decoart Media matte medium as a transfer paste. So much fun! and it turned out how I have imagined it.
I am entering this into :
That's crafty challenge - anything but a card
Not Just cards -anything goes
Altered Electics - anything goes

and now for the Mango monster...
My friend has had a baby recently and  I wanted to create a card for her first child as I think they often feel left out.

The card is tropical fruit colors, starting with lemon and lime, moving to Mango and then orange and finally the lovely purple of some dragon fruits (my favorite.) I am sending this image to cause havoc in the following challenges:
Simon says stamp -for a child
Less is more -Tropical Fruit
Sisterhood of snarky stampers- M is for mink

I'm laughing out loud at the thought of a tropical fruit flavoured monster (although I've never tasted a monster, maybe they do taste fruity!) Thank you for getting snarky with the Sisterhood

Ooh, love your witchy box - and yes, I think it's hilarious how long we all spent making things look weathered and decaying! Love your mango monster... great colour choices.
