little one

Greetings,

I loved making this card, I gesso'd the surface and then created a great deal of mess playing with geltos. I have always wanted some but was put off by the price tag so when I saw some for £4.00 in hobbycraft two different color packs went straight in the basket. I then stamped it and mounted it.

I am entering it into the following challenges:
Less is more -peacock feathers colors
All sorts challenge - new beginnings

and here is a piece of altered wood that I made into a home sign.

No idea what Geltos are, but they give lovely effects! I've not done any cards for a few years til now, so I'm not at all aware of all the exciting new things available.

Have a look here, and then prepare to sit on your hands to stop yourself spending money! I bought a set for my niece and it was such a struggle to hand them over! http://www.fabercastell.com/design-memory-craft-us/products/gelatos

What a super card. It's so atmospheric and using gesso for surface texture was a great idea! Love your altered wood home sign too. Great job - thanks for playing at Less is More!

Wow! What an incredible piece of art on a card. The gesso and gelatos make an amazing seascape for you gorgeous dolphins. It is so realistic. Your home sign is super too. Thank you so much for sharing this with us at Less is More.
