Dearest Minions,

Good day, this is my entry to this week's less is more challenge which is this sketch (or a circle one.)

The image used is a digi from Free vintage digital stamps. I then printed the text "Swingers party c1940". I masked off the image and sponged over the image in distress ink Blue Jeans.

I also did a sunset image and a larger image with a masked sun. Nice and subversive cards...

This is my entry to this weeks Try it on Tuesday challenge Anything goes do get involved it is a free for all in a creative sense. The above tag is made with lots of materials available from our sponsors the Craft Barn who are providing a most excellent prize.

Here is three cards of cute. The image is from Mo's digital pencil, I coloured this in with flexi markers. While I don't do cute a lot, for some reason ill people don't respond well to puns when they are ill, maybe that should be a test of illness.

Pampered Pets

Good Morning,

This week at Try it on Tuesday the challenge is pampered pets and is sponsored by the delightful and most wonderous One Stop Card Crafts.  I had so many ideas for this challenge as I have a very pampered pet... the evil Dr Nebula.

The card started out as the one below, then I noticed how angry and disaproving the middle bunny was and 12 angry bunnies was born.

The stamp is from a excellent free digi stamp site called Free Vintage Digital Stamps, the font is American type writer and the bunnies were coloured with the flexi markers that I won from craft stamper. Please do give the challenge ago.

Flower heads...

Dearest Minions,

Here is my latest offering to the dark beings at Macabre Monday. This week's challenge is being sponsored by the delightful Octopode Factory who are fully responsible for the scarecrow head that sits in a flowery pose above. This week the challenge is to use the head of one stamp on another one. So I chose a fancy pants flower stem to make my beauties. This was inspired by a conversation about a posh salmon dish served a while a ago at a do I was at.

Due to being an evil veggie (and once commenting that I would prefer it if someone else's meal did not make eye contact) the fish which had it's head on, had it's eyes covered by cucumber. This was  too fabulous, the fish looked like it was at a spar. I being the a fore said evil veggie, was trying to bribe a young minion to replace the cucumber slices with gold coins to pay the ferryman.... Anyway the pun being flower heads (and flowers looking back at you.)

tutorial type thing with a frame

Dearest Minions,

This will not be a Blue Peter/Art Attack type of instructions as much of my stopping involved swearing as things dropped off (Bloody KEY.)

Step one- fight chavs for photo frame in the pound shop.

Step two - file with a nail file or sand paper, if more prepared.  Open a window, work alcohol ink into the frame. Put a post it note over the glass.

Step Three - work a darker ink into the corners.

Step Four - Add bits a pieces, stick them down with glossy accents, swear a lot as the key keeps dropping off the frame, try several times and then decide it looks better without.

Step Five- after letting it dry put in a picture and whack it on a side board. TA DA!
