handmade gifts

Greetings,

The newest challenge at TIOT is handmade gifts or tags, here is my offering.

I have made a lot of gifts this year and here are just a few. The lavender bags have vintage images from Lisa's altered art stitched on to them. The book has a stamped image from the wonderful paper artsy mounted on to paper and then popped on the front. The scissor and Dream broaches are cobbled together from stash that has been knocking around my desk top.

Look forward to seeing your giftables and being inspired!

diamond hearted

Greetings,

Recentley I was in areally minor car acident I am fine (my poor car is really not good) and feeling very lucky. I would like to use this card to say a huge thank you to the lady who saw the whole thing and stopped, the customer service staff at Bury St Edmunds Tesco who were awesome to a very shaken up person and a battered car and finally green flag and my insurance company who were very swift and compassionate.

The card is made with figgy Pudding basic grey paper- Dilly beans penny with a heart image, coloured with provo markers, sparkle added with diamond dust and my mind's eye textured papers.

Frosty owls

Dearest Minions,

Here is my latest offering for the less is more challenge- use birds. (The pun is strong in this one...) I am trying to make Christmas cards at the mo, but world domination is manic at the mo and I haven't had as much craft time as I would like (24hrs per day with napping, cheesecake and possibly noodles for variation.)

The stamp is stampotique, sentiment peg letter stamps, background a mask and distress inks, blended and sprayed with water. I then made my own embossing powder with clear powder, diamond dust and a tiny bit of white powder, it really gleams like frost.

I am also spreading my wings on the following challenges:

Jolly Holly Christmas challenge blog - one for the boys lots of male bird watchers about.
Through the craft room door -anything goes
Cards for men- anything goes

Anyway this is my DT piece for the ever wonderful TIOT. I am also entering this to Less is more - designer paper as the deer are made with a beautiful flocked card/papers from my mind's eye.
