Singing in the rain

Good day,

I was extremely fortunate to have some stamps bought for me this Christmas from That's Crafty. they work wonderfully with brushos backgrounds, this is my entry to the Try It on Tuesday challenge - I can hear music. I don't really like musicals but singing in the rain is such a positive song, that I can help but hum it.

Vintage seaside

Greetings,

This is my entry to the current Less is more challenge - seaside, I am also entering this card into the All sorts challenge - Vintage. I wanted the figure to look like a colored postcard image, so I stamped with brown ink and then lightly shaded with pencils.

a bit like this

As it is the seaside I also am entering the below image to the That's Crafty challenge - Friday 13th part 1
I made this with brushos, spray inks over a stencil by Brett Welde and then used Andy Skinner stamps on top. I love this stamp set it adds texture really well.

and I am finishing with fabulous fish (sharks can be glittery pink if they want) and Felixstowe looking beautiful in the sun.

time

Greetings!

This is my many layered entry to the that's Crafty challenge - go figure.

First I took a lot of paper scraps stuck them to card, trimmed to size, then I used the Brett Welde stencil of the Kracken and a tim holtz clock stencil with sage distress ink. I then stamped with the writing from the Visible image revolutions set, then I added and embossed  a Finabar figure. I added another heart in a contrasting color over the top. then I stamped over the whole thing with an Andy Skinner aging stamp, the embossing resisted the ink.

I then mounted the whole piece on a background which I had sprayed through a number stencil with.
This was so satisfying to create.

I have also included a photo of a sheep giving me the stink eye this morning on my walk.
