ornate

Dearest Minions,

Good morning, this is another weenie card. I had a go at a new technique which is to stamp on a distress ink background with just water on the stamp, wait impatiently for this to dry and then stamp slightly higher on the page over the water made stamp impression. I found the technique by Dawn Bibby in an old craft mag, forget which one.

I really liked how it turned out, I this it really highlights the stamp image. stamp is from stampin' up and the distress ink used is Peacock feathers.

I am entering this into the following challenges:

keep it simple- be inspired
Sister act card challenge- anything goes
Crafty little fairies- anything goes

The UK is due some awful weather, so everyone stay safe. "Let's be careful out there."

I am entering this into the following challenges:

hello Kitty

Greetings!
This is my latest halloween card I used the Leo image from Horrorscopes from Delicious Doodles. I was luck enough to win some delicious doodlesHorroscope images a while ago and I found it so hard to choose, esp as there are 13 to choose from.

I coloured the eyes and the tips of the teeth and nails with water colours. Hello Kitty is printed with pen letter stamps and worn lipstick distress ink.

I haven't been crafting as much as usual.. here is why
my chair has been claimed.

I am entering little Hello Kitty to the following challenges:

Digi Haven- halloween -sponsored by the awesome Dilly Beans
Punkyougirl- halloween- sponsored by the most honoured Rick St Dennis
Sarah Hurley challenge blog- Halloween
the sisterhood of crafters -anything goes

textures- tiot

Greetings,

I am just dancing in a rather disconcerting way as we are being sponsored by SMEARED INK at try it on tuesday this month. Smeared ink are the parents of my beloved grumpies. Our challenge is textures and here is my offering.

The image is smeared ink which is printed on material this is then backed on to an embossed metal book plate. The wire roses were a beggar to get on I ended up putting a folded piece of loo roll under it for clearence.

The bookplate was stuck on to a jigsaw which had been painted and embossed, a clear dictionary sticker was then put on. I then put an embossed sprayed piece of cardboard under it all.
