winter is coming

Dearest Minions,

This is my entry to Macabre Monday's challenge which is can I quote you on that. The quote is from Game of Thrones by George R R Martin and is the House of Stark's motto.

I bought the skull stamp yesterday from Blade rubber stamps, the eyes are coloured like that as a reference to "the others" who kill and then bring corpses back from the dead - their eyes tend to be bright blue and they are somewhat disinclined to conversation.

I wanted to something very simple and stark (snigger) which was also created a feeling of unease.

    Brilliant use of a family motto for your quote. I am anxiously awaiting the first of April for the G of T debut! I cried last season when the Dragon Queen was revealed. Such a masterfully crafted story. Wish I had read the books before watching the show though.
