happy daze, snobby tarts, Parisian dooberrys

Dearest Minions,

Annette was kind enough to recommend me entering one of my other cards to the Happy Daze challenge which is Try something new,  so I made this card playing with my new flex markers. All of the stamps are from happy daze, the snobby tart and Queen quote are from scroll works and the flourishes are from the wonderful pink paisley Parisian erm somthingish dooberry. Flowers from my jar and a Tim Holtz keepsake pin.
I bet she would give you food poisoning...mwmamahhhhha.

Got male

Dearest Minions,

This is my entry to Tuesday taggers, you've got mail challenge  and Fasionable stamping challenges make it a guy thing (sponsored by Cottage Crafts.) this week. As you know, I love puns so I went forth and am demonstrating my pun love through a naked man, without an urn in sight, but I am assured that it is art and stuff. ( I love Terry Prachett and I snicker when I think of a conversation between two police officers in"THUD" on what is Art vs what is peeping a undressed ladies, it is, as we all know, down to whether the picture has an urn in it.)

Veturian Man created by using the caught in crystal technique demonstrated by Trish Latimer in Craft Stamper ages ago. stamp from Tim Holtz.

Fable - She was a Tidal Queen

Dearest Minions,

This is my entry to the following challenges:
http://inspiration-avenue-team.blogspot.com/2012/01/art-challenge-january-23.html
Gingersnap Creations- Glorious Greens
Macabre Monday - get lost
inspire me Fridays - anything goes

The whole images came from the macabre Monday challenge, I love these stamps, but don't use them enough. The challenge sponsored by  is to use a map within the image.

I thought that the female image was starting to look abit SHE HULK at first but after some shading I think that she now looks as if she would kill kick Neptune into the north sea and shove a Walrus where the oil doesn't flow. The title is a quote from "The Other Queen" by Phillipa Gregory which I finished on Friday and is excellent, I thought it really suited her.

freaky chick - Dragon fruit fairy

Dearest Minions,

This is my entry to the macabre Monday, challenge Chic freak which is sponsored by Stampotique - inventors of the stamp pictured Moon Girl and "do you believe in fairies?" Tuesday tagger challenge
AND the rainbow lady's challenge year of the dragon because I am a touch twisted.

As I was lucky enough to be eating Dragon fruit this morning, I was inspired by how much it looked like one of those carnivorous plants but in BRIGHT PINK (evil in bright colours) and the dragon fruit fairy has been born. I think that she could turn either way and could give you a treat, but really come on, something is wrong here and she is more likely to eat you.... but daintily. She is a stylish killer and people should be glad to be her next victim.

Happy Year of the Dragon for tomorrow may it bring you good fortune.

favourite things - basic grey challenge

Dearest Minions,

This is my entry to the basic grey challenge of favourite things. The card is not over fussy (saw a card a while back that looked like Carmen Miranda's Sunday hat and couldn't stand up, darlinks in brought me out in goose bumps..) it has a learnt stamping technique (thank you Craft stamper) so experimentation and basic grey Capella paper which makes me drool. The sentiment rub on was on sale and therefore a bargain.

(Sadly the card doesn't feature chocolate, lolcats, Holly Black fairy tales or fish pedicures but less is more...)
